The Perry Hotel
The Perry Hotel is an upscale 100-unit boutique resort on Stock Island, completed in 2017. Charley Toppino & Sons, Inc was the General Contractor on this project in partnership with Marino Construction Group. The Perry has won several prestigious awards in the hospitality community, including making the 2017 Architectural Digest "Top 12 Designed Hotels", Boutique Hotel Magazines Gold Key Award for "Best Upscale Lobby" and the 2018 Hospitality Design Magazine Award for "Best Upscale Public Place".

Truman Waterfront Park
The Truman Waterfront Park is a massive multi phase 33-acre recreational park, built for the City of Key West. Charley Toppino & Sons, Inc was the General Contractor on this project. We started Phase 1A of the park project in 2014 valued at approximately $19,000,000.00. Phase 1A included concrete sidewalks, parking lots, underground utilities, landscape planting areas, playground equipment, a splash pad, athletic fields, exercise equipment and event spaces. We were also awarded Phase 1B and includes the complete renovation of a large building and the construction of a synthetic turf sports field.
Stock Island Marina Village
Stock Island Marina Village is a sprawling marina complex on Stock Island, completed in 2015. Charley Toppino & Sons, Inc was the General Contractor on this project in partnership with Marino Construction Group. The marina project included demolition of several buildings and installation of new docks, seawall and utilities. Stock Island Marina Village is recognized as one of the best marina complexes in the Lower Keys for its deep water access and amenities.

Banana Bay Hotel
The Banana Bay Hotel Project included major structural demolition of an existing 150,000 GSF hotel building and the earthwork/utilities associated with building the new hotel and cottage buildings. Charley Toppino & Sons, Inc performed all of the demolition and sitework on this project.

Gerald Adams Elementary School
The Gerald Adams School Project included major structural demolition of an existing 70,000 GSF elementary school and the earthwork/utilities associated with building the new school and athletic fields. We imported over 1,400 truck loads of fill and installed thousands of feet of storm drainage on this project. Charley Toppino & Sons, Inc performed all of the demolition and sitework on this project.

Marty's Place
Marty's Place is a 47-unit multi-family housing project in the heart of Key West. Charley Toppino & Sons, Inc was the General Contractor on this project in partnership with Marino Construction Group. This project was built for the Aids Help Foundation, in partnership with The Vestcor Companies and will serve as critical housing for members of the community.
Bahia Honda Shoreline Restoration
The Bahia Honda Shoreline Restoration Project was completed in collaboration with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Charley Toppino & Sons was the prime contractor on this project, which included the restoration of Bahia Hondas famous Loggerhead Beach. This project contained over 500 truck loads of limerock and 750 truck loads of boulders to restore the shoreline and protect against future erosion.
Basilica of St.Mary's: Gymnasium Complex
The St.Marys Basilica School Gymnasium Complex is a sprawling 15,000 GSF gymnasium built for the Archdiocese of Miami. Charley Toppino & Sons was the prime contractor on this project, which included design-assist services and the turnkey construction of the gymnasium complex.
City of Key West Pump Station Improvements
The City of Key West Pump Station Improvements Project was built for the City of Key West to improve aging sanitary sewer pump stations across the island. Charley Toppino & Sons was the prime contractor on this project, which included work such as the construction of new control buildings, pumps, and upgraded automated control systems. These pump stations are vital pieces of infrastructure on the island, keeping our sanitary sewer systems operating seamlessly.
Fisherman's Hospital
Charley Toppino & Sons participated on this project as a subcontractor of Robins & Morton, a leading healthcare construction company. We performed all of the earthwork, grading, utilities, asphalt pavement and concrete flatwork on the project. Fishermans Hospital was severely damaged during Hurricane Irma in 2017 and is being completely rebuilt to provide a state of the art healthcare facility in the Middle Keys.
Little Palm Island Resort
The Little Palm Island Resort Project was recently completed in 2020, after the luxury island resort sustained major damage during Hurricane Irma. Little Palm is an offshore island located in the Lower Keys, approx 4 miles offshore. Charley Toppino & Sons worked directly with the ownership group to provide all of the demolition, sitework, import of sand, boulders, etc. This project presented unique challenges, all of the material had to be loaded onto a sectional barge and transported to the Island. We are especially proud of the work completed on this project due to its unique logistical challenges, that were met with safe and effective solutions.
Marathon High School: Sports Complex
Charley Toppino & Sons participated on this project as a subcontractor of Ajax Building Corporation, a leading construction management firm. We performed all of the clearing, earthwork, grading, utilities, asphalt pavement, and concrete flatwork. The project included more than 5-acres of sprawling sports fields and was fast-tracked with an accelerated construction schedule.
Marathon Manor Demolition
The Marathon Manor Demolition Project included complete demolition of an approx 60,000 GSF three-story facility. Charley Toppino & Sons was selected as the prime contractor on this project and self-performed all demolition.
Monroe County School District Bus Facility
The Monroe County School District Bus Loop was a fast-tracked project completed for the MCSD. Charley Toppino & Sons was the prime contractor on this project. We built a bus loop at the rear of Horace O' Bryant Middle School during the summer months, and the project was successfully completed on-time before fall classes began.
Monroe County Courthouse
Charley Toppino & Sons participated as a subcontractor of Biltmore Construction, a leading construction management company. We performed all of the demolition, earthwork, grading, utilities, asphalt pavement, and concrete flatwork on this project. When completed, the Monroe County Courthouse Project will be a state of the art courthouse facility for Monroe County, located in the Upper Keys.
Monroe County Library
Charley Toppino & Sons participated as a subcontractor to Pedro Falcon Contractors, a leading general contractor in the Florida Keys. We performed all of the demolition, earthwork, grading, utilities, asphalt pavement, and concrete flatwork on this project. This new library complex is located in Marathon and will serve as a public community library.
Stock Island Roadway Improvements
The Stock Island Roadway Improvements Project was completed for Monroe County. Charley Toppino & Sons was the prime contractor on this project. The job included reconstruction of more than 2-miles of roadway, concrete sidewalks, curbs and drainage improvements.
North Simonton Street Emergency Outfall
The North Simonton Outfall was completed for the City of Key West. Charley Toppino & Sons was the prime contractor on this major infrastructure project. We installed a new stormwater pump station and outfall line to combat coastal flooding in the neighboring areas.
Stanley Switlik Elementary School
Charley Toppino & Sons participated on this project as a subcontractor of Ajax Building Corporation, a leading construction management firm. We performed all of the demolition, clearing, earthwork, grading, utilities, asphalt pavement, and concrete flatwork. The project included new educational facilities, sports fields, and common areas.
